THE BEAUTY OF VIOLENCE

The Beauty of Violence two-page spread is a design I created from a research paper that I wrote for a Film as Literature course where we analyzed films. In this research paper, I researched violent films and the directors of such films to examine the aesthetics that make them so appealing to movie viewers.

I designed the article to include an engaging illustration, a pull quote, and a bright magenta color to come together as one cohesive piece.

DRINK COFFEE

This one-page article features some quirky facts about coffee in a one-page spread layout. I wrote the article to be light and fun, and I chose a color palette that would be reminiscent of coffee when the viewer reads it. I used a pull quote and an engaging image to keep the viewer interested throughout the entire article.
