This is a concert poster created for a fictional concert featuring John Coltrane and his famous album, A Love Supreme. This poster was designed in a group as mock designers for an advertising agency where we were asked to develop a poster that could be used as promotion for when the album was released in 1965. The album includes intricate melodies and includes Coltrane speaking the words "a love supreme" sixteen times. This design includes the words "a love supreme" sixteen times to give the reader the same feeling that resonates from listening to the album when viewing the poster.

For this design, I worked in a group to create a concert poster for the indie band, Komeda, and their album, What Makes It Go? We decided to create a poster that was bold and different for the year that it was released, 1998. In a time when most bands were alternative and grunge, Komeda created music that was unique with upbeat melodies but had a deeper meaning when you analyze the lyrics. Our design is meant to represent Komeda and their “read between the lines” style.

The Superfoods Infographic seen here was created as a group project in which we were asked to create an infographic of a subject of our choosing. My group and I decided to go with a topic that is fun and colorful as well as something that is informative in a healthy way. We created the images in Illustrator with the pen tool and used InDesign to create the layout for the design.
